And then just last week, we started a co-op save file(soooo much better). She watched, wanted to play, and we both have a super high hours save file each. I was HOOKED seeing Dan play stardew, immediately bought it and started dumping hours into it.
It sucked because we couldn't play together.
Toukiden 3 player coop Ps4#
She played some destiny 1 at a friend's house so I literally bought a ps4 because it was starting to get a good amount of games(2016 spring) for me, and here was something she liked. I've shown her multiple things she didn't seem interested in, but every now and then something just clicks. Less about the quality or hating them than just the same type of game for so many hours for me. She was really into the lego games so we went through a bunch of those until I just couldn't anymore lol. Some she likes to watch, but that's about it. My girlfriend doesn't play many games that I like to play: MMOS, shooters, open world, action combat the big stuff. It's split screen too but you said she doesn't like mean, see if she's into anything. Looks like online co-op was taken down years ago but you can lan it seems like through programs and some user fixes so, there's that. B tier at best, ok not great, but works, is SUPER cheap($5 without going on sale, 1-2 on sale) and I had fun with it. Looking at the steam reviews re-affirms what I thought of it. I had a ton of fun with this game BECAUSE of the co-op I thought the game was just fine. The game is a little bit like gears of war with chest high walls, character size and perspective and shooting(third person and some cover stuff if I remember, probably not at "tight"), but has some light rpg upgrading mechanics as well. One player plays an elf woman which is mainly a ranged fighter, one plays a human man which is mainly a melee fighter. So I do have a suggestion that I don't think any of my friends, except the one I played co-op with, has ever played and most never heard of. I have no idea how good trine 3 works in 3d haven't looked into it much and was wary of it honestly. Trine is a bit more puzzle-y than pure action and combat, it's also not isometric but it is 2d and a bit zoomed out. +points to that one if she's more into an anime setting or if you want something a little more easy and hack/slash(atleast I'm pretty sure compared to MH titles?). I tried to start god eater and couldn't get into it but I feel the "on ramp" part of the game is pretty bad and now that I've played a ton of my first monster hunter, I have a way better idea for what the game is trying to do that I want to go back sometime. My girlfriend doesn't play things that difficult the majority of the time, so it's not an option for me, but with friends in general it's been so great. wish me luck!Īgreed with the MHW answers. I'm thinking I might get somewhere with God Eater/Monster Hunter Worlds. I've tried a few of the ones you've listed but you've come up with some others I hadn't considered so I'll run them past her. Really would just like a 3rd person RPG like Skyrim or the Witcher that was Co-Op all the time not just a special side mode. Survival games have been "okay" and hit or miss as Ylands, Minecraft, and the recently cancelled Skysaga. Farm Together has been a nice one as well. She DID like Assassins Creed Unity's co-op mode there just wasn't enough of it as you couldn't do the story co-op. Same Screen: Yep she doesn't like split or shared screen.
Isometric: It's "Too far away" which includes zooming in as best as I could with Diablo and Divinity. The Problem really comes from my wife though because I can't get her into most of the usual Co-Op Game styles.ġst Person: That's right out. Yes we can and do play MMO's without looking at the other players but we'd like to get a similar gameplay with just the two of us. But we actually are done with the "Massively Multiplayer" part of that genre. That whole 3rd person, behind the back, tab target or action combat all of that is good. So my wife and I enjoy MMO's like WoW, SWtOR, GW2, TERA, and the like.
